WE SEEK TO BE A BEACON OF WELCOME AND HOPE

Whoever you are or where you are on life's journey, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE.

 Worship and Fellowship

From the ancient psalmist’s cry, “This is the day that the Lord has made,” to the everyday moments that shape our modern lives,

Zion UCC gathers each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to bridge the wisdom of scripture with the realities we face today.

Our worship blends the beauty of traditional hymns with the vibrancy of contemporary faith, creating a space where timeless truth meets present‑day hope. Each service invites you to be renewed, grounded, and inspired to live your faith in the world around you.

After worship, everyone is warmly invited to stay for fellowship—a time to share conversation, laughter, and the kind of community that strengthens us for the week ahead.

Christian Education

Zion UCC offers children’s and youth Christian Education classes every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Families may arrive as early as 9:15 a.m., and parents are welcome to gather around the coffee bar while their children learn and grow with our dedicated teachers.

For adults, Pastor Gary leads an Adult Bible Chat on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 11:11 a.m. This relaxed, engaging gathering opens scripture in ways that speak to both ancient faith and everyday living.

Community Outreach

At Zion UCC, we believe in putting our faith into action. Our community outreach programs are designed to support those in need and make a positive impact in our local community. From food drives to volunteer opportunities, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference all year round because the need is great, and we are called to help one another.

Love your neighbor...every neighbor.

Zion UCC hosts 10+ addiction support group meetings a week. We believe in embracing the marginalized and weary, offering a shelter from the storm.

If you are seeking a support group, let us know.

Our Historic Building

Zion UCC is housed in a beautiful, historic building that has been a landmark in Stroudsburg since its construction. Our church building is just a half-block from Main Street and boasts stunning architecture behind the arched oak doors and a rich history which stand as a testament to the enduring faith and dedication of our congregation.

The sanctuary, adorned with intricate stained-glass windows and original woodwork, provides a serene and inspiring setting for worship. Over the years, our building has been lovingly maintained and restored, ensuring that it continues to serve as a place of worship and community gathering for generations to come.

We ring our bell every Sunday to remind God

that we are joyful for all God's blessings.

   Inclusive and Welcoming

We are a diverse and inclusive community that welcomes everyone, regardless of background or belief. Our church is a safe space where you can explore your faith and find support on your spiritual journey. We are committed to creating an environment where all feel valued and loved.

God is Still Speaking

God is Still Speaking is the identity campaign that distinctively branded the UCC and helped define its progressive voice in the faith communities. The intent is to make religion relevant again and extend an extravagant welcome to all.

Come see what we're all about, whether you are new to the area, a visitor enjoying the Poconos, or looking for a new church home.
