The Miracles Happen Thrift Shoppe, was located at 537 Ann Street in Stroudsburg, PA, for the last ten years. But we've moved to our church building on 8th Street to consolidate our operations under one roof. We also have additional square footage to offer more high-quality items at affordable prices.
Run by a dedicated team of volunteers from Zion United Church of Christ, the thrift shop not only provides great deals on clothing, accessories, household items, and more, but it also serves a greater purpose. The revenue generated supports the church and various charitable causes & missions.
The shop is known for its friendly atmosphere and the personal touch of its volunteers, who enjoy interacting with customers and sharing stories. The inventory is constantly updated with donations, ensuring a diverse selection of items, from designer labels to unique knickknacks.
Lots of vintage clothing shoppers frequent the store, along with music lovers with a passion for "old" tunes. Our "bag sale" event, held on the first Saturday of every month. Shoppers can fill a grocery bag with clothing items for just $5, making it a favorite among regular customers.
The shop's success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its volunteers and the support of the local community. Whether you're looking for a great bargain or simply want to support a good cause, the Miracles Happen Thrift Shoppe is a wonderful place to visit.
At our Grand Re-Opening Ceremony on May 9, 2025, Stroudsburg Mayor Micheal Moreno issued a proclamation naming May 9th Miracles Happen Thrift Shoppe Day. We were joined by Amy Leiser, Monroe County Historical Association, Senator Rosemary Brown (representative), and WBRE-TV.

Worship begins at 10am during the summer and there is no Sunday School for the youth and children.
Folks will still be gathering as early at 9:15am for coffee and conversation in the Fellowship Hall. We'll also enjoy time together after worship with popcorn & cold drinks.
Our building is air conditioned. Please dress for that.
